Recap

Dorado

We saw some squad rotation from Seoul Dynasty as Gido and Xepher came in for Tobi and Zunba. They started poorly on defence. Florida Mayhem grabbed Point A with ease against an error-prone defence.

Seoul put the brakes on during streets. Fleta’s Widowmaker started performing as the Korean side held the high ground well as they held.

Seoul weathered an early storm and took advantage of their ultimates. Munchkin’s Dragonblades got a lot of value thanks to some poor support ultimate timing from Florida. Seoul just did enough as they grabbed the map.

Horizon Lunar Colony

Tobi came back in for Seoul but it didn’t help them early on. The Dynasty folded on defence against a smart flanking Florida offence. TviQ still had his first EMP but didn’t really get enough value from it as Mayhem attempted to snowball Point B. Mayhem grabbed two ticks but TviQ couldn’t find Ryujehong’s Zenyatta and the Korean superstar responded with several quick frags to remind Mayhem of their error.

Seoul looked like a side bereft of ideas on Point A attack. For over three minutes Mayhem defended extremely well to stagger and disrupt their opponents. However, TviQ mat not have got much value from his EMP but Fleta did. A single push and half of Florida’s team was instantly eliminated as Seoul snowballed to take the match.

Oasis

There was the regular Pharah battle on Garden and it was a battle which Fleta won with ease. The DPS star again showed his value as he got incredible value from the damage-boosted rockets. Munchkin and Kuki did some good work on the ground as they grabbed a 1-0.

Mayhem started with a triple tank against Seoul’s dive and while they got big value from their ultimates, Seoul just dominated the rest of the round to take the round and match.

Eichenwalde

Eichenwalde was very similar to the first map on Dorado. Mayhem started well and after a stall on streets, took Point B in overtime. Florida had so little time as it moved onto the final stretch but were just stalled out by their opponents.

Floirda Mayhem again put in a good defence on Point A but Seoul just needed to put one good point together to take the point. Seoul just rolled through the map with ease as they took the 4-0 comfortably.

MVP – Ryujehong. Ryujehong just came up with most important plays at the most important times, especially on Horizon. Kuki and Fleta also played well but Seoul didn’t have to do much to win this match.
